Representative Steve Holland said that he may be considering returning to the House of Representatives.

Holland, who had been diagnosed with dementia, said that he planned to retire at the end of this term, but now says he is considering returning to work at the Capitol.

Holland said that if he does end up going back to the legislature, he wants to get people from both sides working together again.

He added his personal thoughts on the Affordable Care Act saying that the main issue is getting everybody on the same page.

Holland also spoke about his ideas on the lottery saying that he introduced the first bill to legalize the lottery in the late 80s.

“We’re just losing revenue,” Holland said.

He added that he believes the insurance sales tax should be standard. However, he said that neither he nor his staff shop online as it takes away money from the local economy.
