Spring-Like Saturday, Storms Move in Tuesday

JACKSON, MISS– Most of the state will enjoy highs in the 60’s and 70’s Saturday, but the glimmer of spring fades as we enter into the early part of the work week.

Tuesday afternoon and evening, there’s a chance of severe weather for most of the state.

North Mississippi is looking at the greatest threat of tornadoes and damaging winds, with strong tornadoes being possible between Greenwood and Greenville.

News Mississippi will continue to keep you updated as the forecast develops.

In the meantime, lower 70’s for the highs in North Mississippi for the weekend, mid 70’s central and south. Lows drop into the 50’s Saturday and Sunday.
