OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, MISS– The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation has canceled the Silver Alert issued early Wednesday for 83-year-old Lena Mae Harrell.  A spokesperson said she has been found and is safe.

JACKSON, Miss.- Mississippi advocacy groups gathered in the capital city on Tuesday to discuss fair compensation for workers who have been injured on the job and can no longer work.
